Gillards Beach, Sapphire Coast

Natural Attractions

Is this the perfect Aussie Bush Beach? Almost two kilometres of golden sand, stretching between dense bushland and pristine ocean, Gillards is great for surfing, swimming and spotting native wildlife. Its also a fantastic fishing spot. Salmon, bream, tailor and whiting are all common and after dark, night jewfish and gummy sharks become an option.

A popular camp site, Gillard’s is bordered by the bush and the beach. There are around 70 unmarked campsites and the grounds can be accessed by caravans, ARVs and trailers. Be flexible, as there are no bookings available for this camp ground.
