Jump on the Beach Bus departing daily from Tea Garden’s Public Ferry Wharf – there is so much more to see! Get local with a guided tour, hear stories and secrets of the Myall Coast.

Step out to the spectacular Lions Park Lookout, Bennetts Main Beach and the Visitor Information Centre. See ancient Yacaaba Head and the mysterious off-limit Islands of Cabbage Tree, Broughton and Boondelahbah. Tour the Singing Bridge, Koala Reserve, Jimmys Beach and Winda Woppa. Keep an eye out for koalas, kangaroos, dingoes (no feeding), native birds and hear all about Gould’s petrel – one of the oddest and rarest birds!

Experience the stunning Myall Coast and Lakes with long sandy beaches, lakes, rugged headlands and the twin coastal villages of Tea Gardens-Hawks Nest linked by the ‘Singing Bridge’.

The Joy Bus picks you up and first stop is Main Beach with spectacular views out to Broughton Island and ancient Yacaaba Head. Then we loop to stunning Jimmys Beach and across to Winda Woppa point. Past Hawks Nest and into the National Park past huge sand dunes rolling down to the Pacific. Morning tea is provided.

Then tour to Bombah Point and onto the ferry across The Broadwater. We land in Bulahdelah against a backdrop of soaring native forested hills in time for a delicious pub lunch at the Plough Inn Hotel. Built in 1862 and offering country hospitality, it overlooks the Crawford River with a beer garden. Travellers have time to stroll down Stroud Street, with its cafes and craft shops. Then back to Tea Gardens via the Lions Park Lookout.

Travellers have the option to be dropped back at their accommodation or at one of the local clubs.

Jump on a Joy Bus from your accommodation and tour Nabiac for their famous Farmers Markets, amazing shops and a delicious pub lunch. Taste locally grown organic fruit and veggies, pasture-raised eggs, local fruits, cakes, chocolates, gingerbread, olive products, honey, gourmet goodies, wines and loaves of bread. Browse natural skincare products, locally made art, jewellery, and gift ideas, all with good music and great community spirit!

Then a short tour to Nabiac Memorial Park and take time to browse a divine range of local antique, fashion and homeware shops including Vintage Magnolia, Circle of Friends, The Greenhouse Collective and others.

Or ask our tour driver to be dropped off at the National Motorcycle Museum with over 800 motorcycles on display as well as an enormous array of motorcycle memorabilia, toys and a gift shop ($15 entry fee applies).

Next stop is Nabiac Hotel for a delicious pub lunch followed by a relaxing trip home with a short stop halfway.

Back to your accommodation via the Tea Gardens Lions Park Lookout.
