Navigate Expeditions offers immersive, regenerative travel experiences for the environmentally conscious traveller. Currently offering bushwalking, kayaking, e-biking and speciality tours on the far South Coast of New South Wales and beyond.

Their day tours include, ‘Kayak and Shuck’ experience, gentle kayaking on the vibrant turquoise water inside the calm estuary of Pambula River and an Oyster shucking class with Broadwater Oysters. They run kayak tours on the Bega, Bermagui, Merimbula, Pambula Rivers and walking nature tours in Mimosa Rocks National Park and Beowa National Park (formerly Ben Boyd National Park). They can also cater for any other specialist tours for private groups such as gourmet food, wellness, art, photography, birding and accessible tours.

They offer multi-day, small group, all-inclusive, nature tours based out of Tanja Lagoon Camp, Green Cape Lighthouse, yambulla and customisable private tours for small groups.

Navigate Expeditions have achieved Advanced Ecotourism certification and Climate Action Business certification with Ecotourism Australia. The ECO Certification program certifies tourism products with a primary focus on nature. It assures travellers that certified products are backed by a strong, well managed commitment to sustainable practices and provides high quality nature-based tourism experiences. They placed silver at the NSW Tourism Business Awards in the ‘new tourism business category’.

Join this three hour guided walk from Bithry to Stinking Bay and back through Mimosa National Parks and learn about the historical, cultural and environmental features. You’ll meet at Bithry car park inside the Mimosa National Park from there we will follow the coast as it traverses cliff tops, headlands and timbered woodlands. This walk can be abundant with wildlife and bird life. Groups often spot eastern grey kangaroos, swans, and in the right season, whales! You’ll have plenty of rest stops to enjoy nature, and a refreshing snack before making our way back to Bithry inlet car park.

Their signature day tour, and the most spectacular day hike on the Sapphire Coast. Join them for a challenging hike along the rugged coastline, exploring the pebbly beaches, sandy bays, pockets of rainforest and cliff-top sections this hike has to offer. Marvel at the abundance of wildlife and birdlife, learn about the historical, cultural and environmental features of the landscape, and perhaps enjoy a swim at one of the secluded beaches along the way. You’ll stop for a gourmet picnic provided by ‘Blend Provider Café’. This walk will start and finish at the Kianinny Bay picnic area, Tathra.

Join them for a leisurely kayak up the Bermagui River and back. Pass mangroves where you often see herons foraging on the shoreline and cormorants drying their wings on tree branches. Further up river, you’ll make time to take in the natural surroundings and listen to the tranquil sound of the bell birds. You’ll stop along the river bank for morning tea break and if the weather is lovely, perhaps even a swim before heading back to where you started.

Kayak through different eco systems from the forest of reeds in the lagoon to the sand spits, bush and farm land of the Bega River. You’ll be going at a pace to suit the group’s experience level and have time to really enjoy the natural habitat with guests often spotting egrets fishing by the shallow waters, azure kingfishers perched on the ends of branches and possibly white bellied sea eagles flying above. There really is so much to see and experience along this beautiful lagoon and river system. Part way along you’ll land ashore to stretch your legs, enjoy a lovely morning tea and perhaps even a swim.
