Paines lookout

Natural Attractions

Set midway along West Rim walking track in Morton National Park, Paines lookout is a picturesque spot to take in the dramatic cliffs that surround Yarrunga Valley.

See the lush rainforest canopy stretch out before you and try to spot the local birdlife that make their home in the sub-tropical rainforest. You’ll have sweeping views of the gorge and valley as you gaze out towards the horizon.

**To keep visitors safe ALL camping in NSW national parks now requires a booking. For day visitors, please plan ahead and visit outside of peak periods (11am and 2pm). Check park alerts and visit COVID-19 updates for more information before visiting any park – www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au **
