Whether you believe in ghosts or not, this tour will keep you entertained as you discover the intriguing stories of Q Station’s history and most eccentric characters. Grab a lantern and join the adventure!

Get the whole family together for a spooky night of ghost stories and ghost hunting! Learn about ghosts and why they believe this site is haunted. Available for families, birthday parties, youth groups or school excursions.

Recommended for children aged eight years and over. All bookings must include a child aged eight -14 years and children must be accompanied by an adult. No adult only groups.

A personal immersion into the spiritual energy of the Quarantine Station site. This tour is not anchored in history or typical ghost lore, but rather it takes a unique path through stories of the darker side of quarantine as told by physics and mediums. Experiments are conducted to encourage paranormal activity and reveal underlying truths.

The Q Station Sleepover is back, now better than ever! New equipment, new experiences and different areas to investigate. Evocative and enthralling; investigate the paranormal mysteries of Quarantine in our new Spirit Searching Sleepover. After your tour concludes in the early hours, your bed for the night may not provide the restful sleep you hoped!

The Wharf Precinct is the most significant place to understand the arrival and daily operations of residents at the Quarantine Station. You’ll explore the heritage buildings and discover the stories of migrants through the 19th and 20th centuries. Meet at the Visitor’s Centre at least 15 minutes before the start of your tour and make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes!

On this longer tour you’ll discover what it was like to be quarantined! Explore the history of Sydney’s former Quarantine Station, visiting the heritage buildings and hearing personal stories of former staff and residents. Attendees must be mobile and wear comfortable walking shoes as the tour includes stairs, inclines and declines.

Come to Q Station these school holidays for a night of family fun! Ghost Trackers is a spooky mix of fascinating ghost stories and ghost hunting which will keep the whole family intrigued.

As darkness descends and transforms the site, a visit to Q Station becomes a spine-tingling affair. Explore some of the former Quarantine Station’s most haunted buildings with your guide, hear the stories of those that were quarantined here and learn about why they believe this special site is haunted.​

Ghost Trackers will be running at every night of the NSW School Holidays. Earlier time sessions of 5pm start are available on Saturdays only. This tour runs for two hours and is recommended for those aged eight to fourteen years and their accompanying adults.

Spanish Influenza has been described as the greatest pandemic in modern history. It is estimated that 500 million people, one-third of the population, became infected with this virus and the number of deaths was estimated to be at least 50 million worldwide. This pandemic and the returning WWI troops led to one of the busiest times at Sydney’s Quarantine Station.

​Visit Q Station one hundred years on to discover the personal stories and tragedies of the people involved, and see some of the key buildings which helped protect the people of Sydney against the battle of influenza.
