Walk through an enchanted field of 6m high hops while learning how they’re grown, harvested and dried from the growers themselves. Visit the bespoke processing facility to see first hand how hops are packaged before being sent to breweries.
Ryefield Hops is a family owned business utilising ex-dairy farming land. They are dedicated to producing sustainable hops grown using regenerative agriculture principles for the Australian craft beer market.
They implement farming methods to promote and build healthy soils, biodiversity, natural predators and enhanced water quality and retention.
Ryefield Hops’ philosophy is “garden to glass” fostering regionality, terroir and beers made where the consumer can taste the story and know where the ingredients were grown.
This small-group tour runs for 1.5 hours, with maximum 20 adults. Tickets can be booked via their website.
Tours will be held every Monday and Thursday in January and early February (except PH). Some Sundays are also available.
