Fyreside is a creative hub for artists and makers on the beautiful Coffs Coast within the Gumbaynggirr nation

Fyreside Arts is a contemporary sculpture and installation art space. They host two galleries – one for local artists to exhibit, and one for their permanent collection with artwork from local and interstate artists.

Fyreside Arts support local artists with a free space to exhibit and a monthly meetup. Check out the website and Instagram for more information on this.

The Fyreside workshops are tailored to varying skill levels, offering workshops to suit beginners and the more advanced: For ages 12 and older, they offer introductory experiences in metalwork, moulding/casting, and woodwork. Introductory experiences are suitable for beginners with no experience. All materials, safety gear, and guidance with your project is provided. For those with established skills and professional backgrounds looking to upskill, Fireside tailor advanced workshops to your needs.

Rates

Metal workshops are AUD125 per person.
2.5 hours
Ages 12+
Small groups of 4.

Wood and plaster workshops:
Can suit younger than 12 years.
6-8 in a group.

All workshops:
Participants will initially work in pairs and must wear sturdy boots and trousers.
Extra time at AUD50 per hour.
