Short Point Beach

Natural Attractions

Short Point Beach has some of the best coastal views on the whole Sapphire Coast and is popular with walkers, divers, windsurfers or those that that just love to relax on the sand or the grassy foreshore. Sun Deck chairs enhance the laid back coastal feel.

A short walk down the cliff from the car park gives quick access to the beach. It offers a great shore based whale-watching location to view passing whales in season (September-November). The grassy reserve area west of the paved car park and south and west of the cliff edge is off leash so you and your dog can both run wild and enjoy the sea air.

The southern end of the beach is patrolled during the summer months.
