South Gundagai Woodlands Walk

National Parks and Reserves

The South Gundagai cemetery contains one of Australia’s rarest vegetation communities: White Box Woodlands.

A short self-guided walk with interpretive signs will help you appreciate the significance of this area. Spring to early summer is the best time to see the wildflower displays and it is also a great place to see many of the region’s rare woodland birds.

A great little walk to relax and wander with the whole family!
