All tours are private and completely tailored for each guest. Splendour Tailored Tours prides itself on being the most unique, fabulous, fun and original experience company in NSW.

It uses its vast network of connections to create unrivalled experiences. Guests could be welcomed to country by an Aboriginal Elder, eat oysters with the farmer, or drink delicious wine with a local wine maker.

Covid-safe message

Whilst amid a global situation, they want to reassure everyone that they are open for business and ensuring both their guest’s and their staff’s safety is top priority.

They are monitoring the situation daily and will make changes as required by the state and federal government regulations.

They have implemented precautions over and above their normal sanitation routines. They use commercial grade sanitiser on their vehicles between every experience. They provide guests with hand sanitiser and sealed Australian bottled water. Gloves and masks are available upon request.

They have published a strict Covid-Safe protocol for all of the suppliers they work with and this is examined routinely.

This highly exclusive experience provides a deep understanding and authentic connection to Australia’s Indigenous cultures.

Firstly your host will take you through the historic Rocks area, where you will learn of the Gadigal people and discover sites of Indigenous significance. Walk the harbour foreshore to the Sydney Opera House, once a gathering place for Aboriginal people.

Next join your Aboriginal guide, at the Botanic Gardens, an oasis in the centre of the city rich in colourful Indigenous culture. Learn the history of the people and plants associated with the oldest botanic gardens in Australia.

Drew is an Australian Aboriginal man born in Gadigal country. Drew shares his knowledge that was passed down to him from older generations.

On arrival Drew will conduct a welcome ceremony, opening your mind and soul to the learnings of the land. You will then be taken on a 2-hour walking tour through the Gardens.

Over a gourmet picnic lunch you’ll be able to taste some of Drew’s family’s traditional recipes as well as contemporary creations using native ingredients.

Your final stop for the day, an authentic Aboriginal Art Gallery to view art sourced from some of the most remote Aboriginal communities in the country.

A unique way to fully understand Sydney’s “lay of the land”, discover the city’s fascinating architecture as your host captivates you with remarkable details about its design and creation. Despite being so young on a global scale, Sydney’s architectural story is incredibly rich and diverse. Your host is an award-winning Architectural Urbanist.

Your day will start with an architectural bang – visiting Jørn Utzon’s famous Sydney Opera House, which is perhaps Sydney’s most renowned and most beautiful architectural destination.

Along the way, you’ll hear about how famous international architects have moulded and played an important role in the development of the city and you will visit iconic buildings such as Custom’s House, the Museum of Sydney and the Department of Lands.

As you discover the city’s architecture you’ll notice that the buildings themselves are not characterised by one architectural style but are an extensive and layered juxtaposition of old meets new.

At the end of the tour you will swap the city streets for the majestic Royal Botanical Gardens, passing ancient trees and Aboriginal sacred sites.

The final stop today will be a local restaurant at the historic Woolloomooloo Wharf for Sydney rock oysters and champagne with your host.

Your host will pick you up in a private luxury vehicle for a day of indulging in gourmet produce and locally produced award-wining wines.

They delve into the real Hunter, meet the wine makers and farmers and go behind the scenes of multi-generational, boutique wineries to sample wine straight from the barrels.

For lunch enjoy a café style two-course meal and a glass of beer or wine on them! There is also an option to upgrade to one of the regions’ top restaurants, where you will enjoy an indulgent lunch prepared with the finest local ingredients. (additional costs).

The boutique, family run wineries that they often visit have a rich history and wonderful stories to tell. They invite you to discover what makes this wine region so unique.

When your belly is satisfied, you’re full of smiles and feel just like a local, you will depart the Hunter Valley. You will almost certainly see some native Australian wildlife on your trip back to the city, especially Kangaroos who like to come out and play just before dusk.

Your host will meet you a in a private luxury vehicle for a full day exploring. Prepare to head off the beaten track. They want to expose you to stunning private vantage points only a true local would know – ensuring you experience the spectacular wilderness of the Blue Mountains from a privileged perspective.

After lunch, you will learn how Aboriginal tribes have lived off the land for thousands of years. You will hear the history of the curious rock formations before heading back to Sydney.

Today is about completely immersing yourself in quintessential Australian beach culture. Experience one of the most stunning coastal walks – taking you from Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach, and all the wonderful hidden beaches and coves in between.

First up, it’s time to get in the water! They’ve arranged a private surf lesson on Bondi Beach with a highly experienced local instructor.

After you surf session, enjoy a delicious breakfast at a cool Bondi café. Then take a moment to visit the acclaimed Aquabumps Gallery. Browse through stunning aerial beach shots of the area you are exploring today.

Back to the sandstone coastline to embark on your journey from Bondi to Coogee Beach – the views along the way are absolutely breathtaking. Walk along the neighbouring beaches, one of which is beautiful Bronte beach, home to a striking rock-pool which was once an Aboriginal birthing site. There will be time to take a break and enjoy a refreshing swim.

Continue along the boardwalk ending at Coogee Beach, indulge in a gourmet lunch and cocktail at the iconic Coogee Pavilion Rooftop Terrace overlooking the coastline.

Drive through charming heritage towns and lush forest as you wind your way down to your first stop of the day. This winery embodies cool climate grape growing and winemaking. Here you will experience an intimate Wine Masterclass in a private tasting room.

For lunch today, visit a private homestead and farm. Here you will enjoy a tour of the property and a home cooked meal with ingredients sourced from the immediate area.

Next meet a local wine maker who will invite you to join him amongst his vineyards and busy sheep farm. He will set up a tasting table in the back of his ute and take you through an outdoor tasting of his interesting local wines.

Your final stop for the day is up to you, you may want to visit one of the charming antique stores, museums or galleries the region is famous for, enjoy another winery or head to Carrington Falls for an intimate hike to spectacular waterfalls. There is no firm itinerary for this day.

Tick off a bucket list item by watching the sun rise over the majestic Pacific Ocean at Bondi Beach. Local’s agree that there is simply no better way to start a day than on the coastline watching the sunrise.

Set your alarm nice and early so you can make your way to the Bondi where you will be met by your Splendour host, professional local Bondi photographer, Rosie English.

This private tailored experience is incredible – an opportunity to capture original photographs of the magnificent sunrise from the iconic Bondi coast, with the assistance of a professional photographer.

Rosie will guide you on a walking tour along the iconic Bondi to Bronte coastal walk, taking in the spectacular views of the beaches. She will bring along her own cameras to capture the experience for you – although she also encourages you to bring your own equipment if you wish to learn from her on the day and take your own photographs.

At the end of this tour, you will walk away with at least twenty frame-worthy photographs to treasure and remember your experience.

Your tour concludes with a healthy gourmet breakfast at a local Bronte café .

To experience the true beating heart of a city, you need to immerse yourself in its local food scene. Known as a destination to experience the freshest and most creative multicultural cuisine.

Your experience will start at one of the country’s oldest pubs in Sydney’s historic Rocks area. Here you will have the chance to sample locally produced craft beers, accompanied by some of the best ‘pub grub’ in town.

Weave your way “up” to Potts Point, commonly referred to as the ‘Paris’ of Sydney for your next foodie hot spot at Bistro Rex. Rex a restaurant nestled within this uber-trendy suburb of Potts Point. The restaurant has received many accolades for its exquisite and delicate cuisine using the finest Australian ingredients.

With satisfied tastebuds and a new appreciation for local cuisine, your host will escort you back to your hotel at approximately 3pm.

You may start the day at Manly Beach and walk the coastal to Shelly Beach. To truly appreciate this magnificent Coast go for a quick dip in one of the striking natural rock pools.

They then suggest a quick drive to North Head where you will enjoy some of the most breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour. Take a small hike down to secluded beaches and waterfalls while taking in the native flora and fauna along the route. North Head is rich in both Indigenous and military history.

You are absolutely spoilt for choice here on the north side for lunch, whether it’s a beachside café or an award-winning seafood restaurant.

Spend the afternoon discovering the beaches from Freshwater all the way up to Palm Beach, where you can walk up to the iconic lighthouse or simply relax on the beach. In season, this coastline is perfect for spotting passing dolphins and humpback whales.
