Sugar Pine Walk
Things To Do Laurel Hill, Snowy Valleys, New South Wales
Natural Attractions
The Sugar Pine Walk is one of the region’s best kept secrets, and is a must-see for any visitors to the Batlow and Tumbarumba areas.
Take the short stroll amongst a dense stand of enormous sugar pines planted in 1928. This species is the largest and tallest of all pines.
The walk is located on the edge of Kopsens Road, around half a kilometre from the Batlow-Tumbarumba Road at Laurel Hill.
Here you’ll find great opportunities for photography and, if you’re lucky enough to visit during the few days of snow that they see each year, it can be a magical experience.
