Difficulty: Moderate the walk is about 11 kilometres long and has some steady and steep hills so moderate fitness is advised.
This walk is one of the best in the Royal National Park. It traverses the whole length of the park from Heathcote to Waterfall and takes in the famous Karloo pools which is a natural freshwater pool bathed in sunlight. Many birds and views of the park and Sydney city can be enjoyed on this walk.
They will meet around 9.30am at Heathcote train station.

They will cover off some basic bush safety and then begin the journey down to Karloo Pool where you can enjoy the sun, a morning tea and perhaps a swim in the beautiful pool. You will then take the Uloola track enjoying amazing views of the Royal National Park from high up and views back to the city before reaching the beautiful Uloola falls and hidden Blue Pools. Here they will stop for lunch and their next swim before taking the fire trail back to Waterfall station and returning to Heathcote station by train.Carpark Public Toilet
