Galleries, Museums and Collections

The Artery is a contemporary Aboriginal art gallery in the inner Sydney suburb of Darlinghurst, specialising in art from remote Aboriginal communities such as the Utopia region, and the Central and Western desert regions.

The gallery works with both established and emerging Aboriginal artists as well as art centres like Warlukurlangu – Artists of Yuendumu. They strive to develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with artists.

The gallery is driven by a code of conduct reflecting an ethical and respectful approach and ensuring artists are empowered. Their motto is; Ethical – Contemporary – Affordable. The aim is to offer the highest quality and best selection of Aboriginal art, at fair and reasonable prices.

The Artery is a signatory to the Indigenous Code of Conduct.
