Trundle Ngurambang Birrang Gallery

Galleries, Museums and Collections

Cheree Stokes is an Aboriginal Artist, Poet and Storyteller who opened her own gallery in October 2020. In 2021 Cheree took up the opportunity to move into larger premises.

Cheree’s Original Artworks are called “Healing Works” that incorporate her unique style of bold bright colours and gold crosshatching on black, and 3-dimensional “healing dots®” with each dot created singularly with painstaking detail. Unlike most original artworks, Cheree’s works are meant to be touched, and it is said that when one rubs their hands over her works, they create a calming and healing effect.

Three of her grandchildren have created their own versions of this healing dot® art style, and their work may also be found in the gallery.

You will find Cheree most days at Trundle NSW, creating her unique works of art. Private workshops are also available for individuals or small groups of up to 20 people. Please enquire for further details.

Cheree’s private workshops often have her travelling to surrounding regions to share her passion. To ensure the gallery is open for your visit, please call or message Cheree in advance.

At different times throughout the year, the gallery also hosts exhibitions of local artists.
