The 2021 Australian Open Water Swimming Championships will be held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre in Castlereagh NSW. Excitingly the event will form part of the men’s nomination process for the Tokyo Olympic Games. A junior team will also be selected at this meet.
After solid training blocks for many swimmers in 2020, the 2021 Australian Open Water Swimming Championships will provide athletes with one of their first opportunities to compete on the national stage.
Age for all events is as at last day of December 2021. Male swimmers must be 14 years and over to enter open events, females must be 13 years and over to enter open events.
Age for the Junior exhibition 2.5 kilometre events is 12 – 14 years.
Qualifying Times must be achieved after the first day of January 2019.

Swimming Australia will continually reassess qualifying times for National Events due to the evolving COVID-19 situation to ensure that swimmers (from affected areas) are not disadvantaged in qualifying.
