A Morning of Weaving

Classes, Lessons, Workshops and Talks

16 Feb 2019

Now that the children are back at school and life has settled back into a rhythm, why not give yourself some time out of your busy week and allow yourself to be immersed in the creative world of weaving.  Never sat at a loom before?  that will not hold you back.  You will quickly learn the basics of the loom and how to weave on it.

For those already familiar with weaving you will be able to extend on what you have already learnt.  The loom will have a warp already wound on and ready for weaving.  You will have time to make a piece that you can choose to have as a table runner, a mat or a wall hanging. Or purchase some soft alpaca for a scarf.  (please note, weaving a scarf can take more than the three hour class, you will be very welcome to come back to finish your project).

Craft wools in a wide array of colours are available and included in the cost.  You are also very welcome to bring along some special wool of your own.
