Jervis Bay Maritime Museum are delighted to introduce the brilliantly talented Kiama-based artist Sheldon Watts! Sheldon is coming down to Huskisson to teach you the specialist skills of working with alcohol inks and their vibrant colours.
In this three hour workshop, Sheldon will demonstrate the beautiful, free-flowing magic of alcohol inks. Under her expert guidance, you will create your own artworks in this rich, expressive medium on premium Yupo paper. You will take your pick from a variety of sizes of paper (3 A4 & 1 A3 pieces of yupo paper or 2 A4 & 2 A3 pieces).
You can opt to include a frame for your large A3 piece or you can organise that later! The choice is yours!
This intimate, immersive learning experience takes place in one of the historic classrooms at the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum and Gallery, nestled amongst the trees. Jervis Bay Maritime Museum will also have a relaxing morning tea in this beautiful setting.
No experience is necessary.
