Arthouse Gallery is excited to be taking part in the new Sydney Solstice Festival this year and would like to welcome you to McLachlan Avenue to discover the vibrant Rushcutters Contemporary arts precinct.
We will be hosting an event to celebrate Belinda Fox’s powerful new exhibition of prints, paintings and ceramics, ‘Cultivate’, together with a new collection of Hill End landscape paintings, ‘Where the light falls’, from Susan Baird.
In addition, .M Contemporary will be showing Michael Taylor’s solo exhibition ‘This is Awkward’ and Simone Rosenbauer’s ‘Like Ice in the Sunshine’.
Dominik Mersch Gallery will also be opening their doors late and invite you to see new works in ‘Another Dawn’ by Catherine O’Donnell and ‘Atmosfera’ by Giacomo Costa.
With specially created Winter Solstice drinks created by local venues The Taphouse Darlo in collaboration with Brix Distillers, this is one event on the festival calendar you won’t want to miss.
So please join Arthouse Gallery in Rushcutters Bay under the new moon and solar eclipse on June 10 for a wonderfully invigorating evening of art and community celebration.
Rushcutters Contemporary is Sydney’s newest arts precinct, incorporating five diverse galleries representing exciting and innovative emerging and established Australian artists working at the forefront of contemporary art and culture.
