Beauty in Imperfection

The Point Gallery and Craft are thrilled that local Artist Clair Bruton has extended her Exhibition ” Beauty in Imperfection” at the Gallery for February 2021.

Due to the fantastic response to the Exhibition Clair has added new artworks for the February Exhibition.

Clair’s unique artworks are hand-built and completely organic in form. A love of woodfired kilns means each item is unique. You just never know what the final item is going to look like. It’s a real surprise.

The magical combination of clays, wood, and temperatures between 1100c and 1300 c gives such unexpected and exciting artworks that there is so much beauty in imperfection.
