In this workshop they will create atmospheric watercolour landscapes inspired by the Kiama headland and foreshore. It will be a refreshing and inspiring day focusing on contemporary techniques for rendering expressive and evocative seascapes.
Their location right on Kiama harbour allows them to venture out in the morning to sketch the shoreline and then work on lovely long format paintings on heavy watercolour paper for the afternoon.
Ingrid’s style is relaxed and free flowing, she is generous with demonstrations and guidance – beginners are most welcome. You will paint in deep indigo watercolour on beautiful heavy quality paper and draw in some favourite details to create a personal, panoramic view of the shoreline.
All materials are supplied, however if you have preferred tools or colours, please bring these along.
