Crookwell Potato Festival

Exhibition and Shows Festivals and Celebrations

12 May 2018

At close to 1000 metres elevation, with high rainfall and rich red basalt soils, Crookwell is famous for producing the highest quality seed potatoes. There is so much more to Crookwell than just spuds. The Crookwell Potato Festival is an educational and entertaining celebration of regional produce and heritage, featuring live music, cooking demonstrations, heavy horse demonstrations, local potato sales, markets, vintage cars and much more.

This year’s special guest is ABC Television Gardening Australia Host, Costa Georgiadis. Costa is a landscape architect who has an all-consuming passion for plants and people – he knows how to bring out the best in both of them and takes great pleasure in bringing them together.

Visit Crookwell and soak up the friendly country welcome. Come for a day or stay overnight. So close, but a world away!
