Exhibition: House and Home

This work is centred around two homes, one that the artist had lived in for 35 years and one, which is occupied now. ‘House and Home’ is a reflection on moving house from a psychological, imagined and remembered experience.

“I think the first works reflect a more wistful feeling and after the move a subtle change takes place. There is a visual connection between some of this work and a previous exhibition titled Young at Heart shown at Grafton Regional Gallery. Memory was a strong trigger for this work.” SUE BELL 2023
