20 Jun 2021 Annual Event
Head to Campbelltown Steam and Machinery Museum for Flathead Day and celebrate all things Flathead (side valve) powered!
“What is a Flathead?”, you may ask. A flathead engine, also known as a side valve or valve-in-block engine, is an internal combustion engine. It has poppet valves contained within the engine block, instead of in the cylinder head. Flathead engines were manufactured from the late 1890’s until the mid 1950’s.
Head to Campbelltown Steam and Machinery Museum with your flathead powered, car, truck, tractor stationery engine or boat. If you don’t have one, head down to have a look and learn about Flathead motors.
There will be train rides and food available or bring a picnic. Flathead Day is hosted by The Early Ford V8 Club of NSW.
$15 per exhibit, and $2 for spectators
