Garrard’s Miracle Mile

The Grand Circuit event, the Garrards Miracle Mile, is the culmination of an exciting 1-day carnival period. The final field of elite pacers will take on Australasia’s richest 1609 metre Speed Pacing Championship with a $1 million purse.

The field is assembled of the Newcastle Mile winner, Cordina Chariots of Fire winner, Allied Express Sprint & Schweppes Sprint top two placegetters. The balance of the field is selected from horses that competed in the Chariots of Fire or the qualifying Sprint races.

Also adding to the racing excitement is the AUD200,000 Group One NSW Derby Final over 2400m, Hammerhead Trotters Mile of AUD125,000 over 1609m, The Light horse Free For All of AUD100,000, AUD50,000 Sapling Stakes for two-year-old pacers and AUD25,000 Waratah Final.
