Guided Indigenous Walks in Dharawal National Park – 10T Management Trail
Events Wedderburn, Campbelltown, New South Wales
11 Jun 2022 to 9 Jul 2022 Monthly Event
It’s time to discover the history and culture of Dharawal National Park guided by your Aboriginal Discovery Rangers. As you listen to their stories you will start to feel connected to people and country. Enjoy the experience of traditional making methods of women and men, by taking part in an activity. Women then follow the Minerva Trail while Men continue along the 10T Management Trail to a creek.
Minerva Pool is a sacred women’s sight for the Dharawal people. Descendants of the traditional owners ask that Men abstain from Minerva Pool. Men now proceed to a creek to do their activity whilst the women continue on to Minerva escarpment for their activity.
The 10t Management trail heightens your senses and ignites your sense of adventure. It is a grade 3 medium track, as some sections are unsealed and there is an incline on the return which can be challenging.
