14 Oct 2021 to 18 Oct 2021 Annual Event
The 2021 four-day live-in and fully catered writers retreat, offers a boutique experience with tailored programs designed for each writer’s Retreat goals.
How might the overall program look? Think ‘flexible within a schedule’. It is each writer’s retreat to work solo, be mentored by Retreat Director and Facilitator, Virginia Eddy, or be inspired by one or a few or the whole writerly group.
Held in spring in October (14th-18th in 2021) at historic Waterloo Station, up to 13 retreat guests can choose from a range of (mostly) ensuite rooms in different historic buildings. Connect with and dine in several different Station locations with other writers and Festival guest authors staying on-Station.
Generous early-early bird discount packages apply until the 13th June. Access to the High Country Writers Festival events in Glen Innes on the 16th October and Waterloo Station on the 17th October are included in Retreat packages.
Everything we do aims to challenge your thinking, to ignite your imagination and to motivate you to keep writing. That’s everything from pounding the keyboard to dining at sunset to taking leisurely early morning walks.
Make this your event for 2021.
Early early bird rates apply until Sunday 13th June 2021.
Rates include: accommodation, catering, program development and delivery, sessions facilitation and access to moderated author discussions at the High Country Writers Festival held at The Makers Shed, Glen Innes on Saturday 16th October. Rates vary according to accommodation choice.
