Let the Sun Shine: works by Peter Champion

An Inverell-based painter, Peter Champion’s impressions of country and coastal views of the New England, Northern Rivers and the seaboard of NSW are renowned for beautifully harnessing the light of our land- and sea-scapes.

This current collection of works includes many executed en plein air (the art of capturing a scene outdoors).

“For a bit of ‘theatre’, I have framed a couple of the more Impressionist works in old-style heavy gilded frames,” Peter says.
