Wild Harvest Feast
Events Moss Vale, Wingecarribee, New South Wales
5 Oct 2019
After the stand out success of Wild Native Feast at their annual festival, Wildfest, they are delighted to confirm that their signature food event is now part of the Highland Feast Series with a new look – Wild Harvest Feast.
It’s Spring Equinox so the sun is over the equator for a short time making the days the same length across the earth. It’s a new season, a time of rebirth and of new life. In the Highlands the bulbs are opening, blossoms are budding and the fields are blooming.
Known in the pagan calendar as Ostara this feast of old centres on the spring goddess who oversees budding plants so they mix both farmed and the foraged wild harvest to create a gastronomic seven course feast matched with award winning local wines.
Part of SMH Good Food Month this is for the serious foodie and wine lover alike. Add to this a remote location on the banks of the Wingecarribee River, a stunning performance by a well known musician as well as transport to and from the event and you have a night to remember. And don’t forget the Top and Tails, Tiara and Gloves!
