Moonlight Sea Kayaking through Darling Harbour – Vivid

Sydney Harbour Kayaks presents three weeks of very special night-time Sea-Kayaking Guided Experiences.

Paddling through Darling Harbour on your very special 1 1/2 hour Sydney VIVID ‘moonlight’ adventure into Sydney Harbour and return.

As the sun sets they cast off in our kayaks, watch the city come to life and illuminate around you from your floating vantage point.

Their leisurely paddle loop starts and finishes at the Australian Maritime Museum, they get to safely explore the illuminated waters of Darling Harbour, taking in the magnificent light-shows of VIVID 2023

Harbour Life is a 7-minute animation and sound design projection mapped onto the museum rooftop and the HMAS Vampire, Australia’s largest museum object.

They will also get to paddle to the Pyrmont Bridge to get a wonderful view of ELEMENTAL, a breathtaking show that celebrates the elements – fire, air, water and earth – combining spectacular 80 metre water shooters, flames, projection and pyro technics.

These guided kayaking tours provide a rare opportunity to paddle through Darling Harbour on a moonlit adventure that allows you to experience VIVID Sydney from a unique and crowd-free perspective.

The sea kayaks that we will be paddling in are a double-kayak – they are very stable

This tour is not suitable for complete beginner paddlers, paddling experience is recommended.

Everyone will be grouped into double (2 person) kayaks.
