2 Jul 2021 to 26 Jul 2021 Once Only Event
An exhibition by well known Regional Artist Glenda Mackay explores the gridded patterns of the Australian rural landscape through the motif of the domestic quilt.
Glenda uses a range of techniques to combine an array of different materials from the domestic world to explore the connection between home and landscape. There is also an underlying reminder that quilts were often made out of what ever material was available.
Drop in and talk to the artist herself.
Glenda has exhibited in Kyabram Town Hall Gallery (solo), MAMA (solo), Wagga Wagga Regional Gallery (solo) and Benalla Regional Gallery (group) in the last few years.
