Sometimes in life, you need to put a full stop, a pause to the daily grind. The body craves rest, the mind craves space, the soul craves time to heal and space to simply be without roles and responsibilities.
The body has an intrinsic healing system that knows what to do, when given the chance. This 2.5 hour session is an opportunity to allow the body to do just that.
This workshops will include a nourishing combination of:
Some gentle flow through postures to increase mind-body awareness and increase blood flow
A series of Restorative floor based postures (where the body is supported by props to slowly let go in each posture)
Gentle breath awareness and control
Sound Healing, including a combination of crystal singing bowls, channeled voice, drum and Koshi chimes
Open to all ages from 16 years +Suitable for all levels, no previous yoga or meditation experience necessary.
Please BYO the following props to allow for a supportive and relaxing experience:
3 blankets/throws (that can be folded or rolled)
2 bed pillows
Yoga block (1 or 2)
