Wine lovers will be able to taste a world of wine without leaving Sydney when over 250 wines from seven countries awarded trophies and Top 100, Blue Gold, and Gold medals are made available for tasting during two sessions at the Mercure Sydney Central.
This is an exclusive opportunity to taste the ‘best of the best’ food-friendly wines from the Sydney International Wine Competition, a unique wine show where the wines are judged alongside food to best replicate the consumer experience.
You will be able to taste a range of renowned Champagnes and sparkling wines, along with the best of New Zealand’s trophy-winning Sauvignon Blancs – including the Blue Gold medal-winning debut wine from Sarah Jessica Parker – and Pinot Noirs and Australia’s top-ranking Riesling, Chardonnay, Semillon, Shiraz and Cabernet wines, as well as its renowned liqueurs and fortified wines. A wide range of alternative wine varieties will also be exhibited.
The exhibition of Competition trophy and medal winners will be held at the Mercure Sydney Central, with two new tasting times to make it more convenient for wine lovers.
