T-Light is a community event on the banks of Temora’s Lake Centenary providing bonfires, live music, local food, fireworks and paper lanterns to bring a warm glow to winter in rural NSW.
Ticket holders will receive entry to the Lake precinct, which will be closed for the event. The ticket price includes an AUD5 voucher to be redeemed at any of the local onsite food vendors.
Guests will be invited to walk along the lake loop track, stopping to enjoy the delicacies of a variety of local food vendors who will be set up adjacent to the fire pits that are dotted around the lake’s edge.
3:30pm – Gates Open
– Shuttle bus commences from Shamrock Hotel. Schedule TBC.
– Face painting
– Jumping castle
– Fire twirling
– Live music by 1979
7pm – Gates close to public
6pm-7pm – Release of the lanterns
8pm – Fireworks
8:30 – End of event
At sunset, guests will be invited to set alight and release a biodegradable rice paper sky lantern which will be available for sale on the night.
The finale of the evening is a spectacular fireworks display on the north-western bank of the lake that can be viewed from all of the fire stations.
They encourage you to bring cash. BYO drinks permitted but strictly no glass.
