Where the Quite can Hide Tour

Concert or Performance

17 Jul 2021 Once Only Event

Wallarobba Hall will host an intimate concert event with Montgomery Church, who will be touring NSW in support of their forthcoming new album. Embodying a blend of acoustic folk, country and bluegrass influences, grown and distilled in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, Montgomery Church’s music features their own spellbinding songwriting, velvety vocal harmonies, and sublime acoustic instrumentation. Cielle’s voice has been compared to the likes of Allison Krauss and Linda Ronstadt, whilst James has been called Australia’s greatest dobro maestro. They may be, as ARIA Award winner Fanny Lumsden puts it “the most graceful duo literally gracing stages right now.” With their first album earning them two Golden Guitar Award nominations and premier festival appearances including the National Folk Festival, Groundwater Country Music Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival and Americana Fest in Nashville, USA, it’s fair to say that their latest release is much anticipated.

“This is the first time that we’ll be bringing our band on the road with us, so we’re really excited to play the new songs in these fantastic acoustic listening spaces around NSW,” said Church. “These guys really are some of the best players in Australia”.
