It is rumoured that Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson sat at the Bowning Hotel having a drink and continuing the famous bulletin debate. The Bowning Hotel has been open for more than 100 years, it is a historic landmark for Bowning.
The Bowning Hotel is a fully licensed venue which offers a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. They have ATM and TAB facilities, a fully enclosed entertainment area with TV, Pool Table, Karaoke machine and wood heating in Winter. Patrons are often seen utilising the lovely wide verandas on warm days. A Courtesy Bus is available for group bookings.
