The Cootamundry Creek Vineyard is situated on the outskirts of Cootamundra New South Wales on Salt Clay Lane.
First planted in 1997 by Dr David Miller it gradually grew to be at the present stage of seven and a half acres, consisting of Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
The first harvest was in 2000 and the wine was made by Wodonga Hill Winery in Young New South Wales.
Subsequent vintages were made at CSU Wagga Winery until 2006 when Bidgeebong Winery Wagga undertook to make their wine.
A licence for Cellar Door Sales was obtained in 2006 and since then the wines have been available for tasting and sale by appointment.
Only wine ready for consumption is released for Cellar Door and general sale although less mature wines, especially Shiraz are released to those prepared to put them down.
