Morpeth Brewery and Beer Co’s first brewery is located at the Commercial Hotel in Morpeth in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of NSW. At 200 litres brew length, it is one of Australia’s smallest working full-mash breweries. It produces premium quality, all-natural, hand-crafted beers for the local and tourist trade, served almost exclusively at the Commercial Hotel. Production commenced in April 2012 and the first beer, Anzac Ale, was launched on Anzac Day.
Not so long ago if anyone suggested the idea of putting a full-mash brewery in a room not much bigger than three metres square they would have been set aside as a dreamer. However, thanks to the innovative 200 litre Speidel Braumeister the dream has become a reality.
