The Italian On The Hill is a little slice of “La Dolce Vita” in beautiful Yamba.
With Italian owners, the restaurant offers a truly authentic taste of high quality Italian cuisine full of the fresh, clean flavours of their native Amalfi Coast, served with warm, friendly Southern-Italian style hospitality. This includes the freshest local seafood, handmade pasta, traditional Naples-style pizza from the wood-fire oven, and a range of delicious starters, mains and desserts, along with daily specials.
Many of the pastas are handmade and their wood-fired pizzas are prepared using time honoured techniques. The trained Italian “pizzaiolo” works the dough by hand and allows it to rise for up to 72 hours, just as it is in Italy. Gluten free bases are also available.
To complement your meal they’ve soured an extensive range of Italian wines, beers, spirits, digestives and speciality soft-drinks, as well as Australian and New Zealand favourites. They have a climate controlled wine room to store them and would be happy to help with your selection.
