Bars

The Palace Hotel in Broken Hill is an iconic Australian heritage building. The walls are covered in Renaissance inspired and fantasy Australian landscape murals painted by indigenous artist Gordan Waye. The building stands on a prominent corner in the heart of the Silver City boasting three grand floors. Dine at the Side Bar and Restaurant, Monday to Sunday, or take in any part of the day on the spectacular veranda, or sit in the Front Bar and meet some of the locals. The Palace Hotel Broken Hill was used as a stop-over for the characters in the 1994 Australian iconic movie, Priscilla Queen of the Desert. You can even stay in the accommodation room aptly named “The Priscilla Suite” or in a variety of accommodation that is available.
