Thirsty Palette Wines

Thirsty Palette Wines are a family-owned boutique vineyard where you will feel you have truly left the city behind. They are located on the high point of Wilderness Road in Lovedale with spectacular views over the Brokenback range. Their cellar door is warm and friendly with an eclectic range of wines, pottery, trinkets and art.

The family-owned vineyard offers guests a friendly and relaxed vibe with great personalised service from the owners, Andrew and Jacqui. The vineyard also has a resident artist (Jacqui) who runs art workshops.

Groups often stay at the cottage to have the whole art and wine experience. Views lend themselves to a fantastic wine tasting or painting experience.

The cellar door also displays art, pottery and local produce. You will be welcomed by Andrew and Jacquie, who own the vineyard and run the cellar door.

View or buy art or participate in an art workshop with the resident artist at an art studio that provides a fantastic location for art with picturesque views and the serenity necessary to cultivate the inner artist.

Book a stay at Claremont Cottage, formerly the winemakers’ cottage right next to the cellar door with stunning views across the valley to the Brokenback ranges. Dogs are welcome.
