Established in 1994, Vinifera planted some of the first Tempranillo vines in Australia along with Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon. Over the years their vineyard has continued to mature beautifully producing limited vintages including other striking Spanish reds. They believe less is more in their approach to wine growing and making and are proudly certified organic.
Nestled amongst the grapevines and next to their family home, they built the Vinifera cellar door. The doors first opened in 2000 and has since played host to many memories, toasts and excellent drops.
So come and visit, share in their joy of wine and local produce in the cellar door whilst soaking in the sweeping views across the vineyard to the hills beyond.
