You’ll find several beautiful nature reserves and parks including Nurragingy Reserve (home of the Chang Lai Yuan Chinese Gardens), Blacktown Showground and Prospect Reservoir, with open spaces, water splash/play parks, cycling paths, picnic and barbecue facilities.
There is no beach but you will still find water, waves and sand – Wet n Wild at Prospect and the Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope both have wild wave pools for you to enjoy. Wet n Wild has over 40 slides to experience.
For history/heritage and cultural buffs, there are ghost tours at Saint Bartholomew’s Church and cemetery, or visit Rouse Hill House and Farm, an extraordinary historic property dating back to circa 1813.
Blacktown is a sporting city, home to the Western Sydney Wanderers and the Sydney Bluesox at Blacktown International Sportspark. The Sydney Motorsport Park and Sydney Dragway are both in Eastern Creek
