Rural

Eurobodalla showcases a dazzling blue landscape of ocean, rivers, lakes and estuaries along 110 kilometres of coastline. Set against a dramatic backdrop of mountains and forest, the region is renowned for its rich sea, bird and wild life, clear warm summers and temperate winters.

The major towns of Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma are connected by coastal and rural villages; central to the regions strong rural heritage and indigenous culture, and reflecting a genuinely warm, relaxed community. The towns and villages entertain a vibrant seaside cafe culture and renowned restaurants that offer plenty of ways to enjoy local seafood and produce. You’ll also find works of arts and craftspeople in galleries, boutique shops and at country markets.

Off Narooma, Montague Island’s clear waters teem with fish that are hunted by the island’s colony of fur seals and penguins and is the playground for whales during migration.
