Maianbar

Rural

Maianbar and Bundeena are two small idyllic villages located on the beautiful Port Hacking River, south of Sydney. The seaside village of Bundeena is surrounded by rivers and beaches offering fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and bushwalking. Maianbar is separated from Bundeena by a few kilometres of Royal National Park and can be reached by a walking trail.

Holiday and overnight accommodation is limited with a number of bed and breakfasts, and caravan and camping sites at Bonnie Vale campground in the Royal National Park.

Catch the ferry from Cronulla on the first Sunday of the month to discover the local art trail, when studio doors are open to the public for a rare glimpse into the working life and creative journey of local artists.
