Taree is the largest town located in the Manning Valley with a population of 20,000 people.

The Manning Quays provides a large recreational area, a pontoon and jetty facilities. Kendall Reserve in Cundletown features a picnic area, boat ramp and pontoon.

Taree has a recorded population of 16197 residents and is within the Australian Eastern Daylight Time zone Australia/Sydney.
