Kayaks (singles and doubles) and Stand up Paddle Boards are available.
This is a protected and spectacular stretch of the pristine Cudgegong River. Their base is situated at the boat ramp which is roughly in the middle. From there, paddlers can head upstream or downstream and return in around an hour, or explore the whole area in a two hour hire.
No booking is required for hire: just come and see them when you’re ready to paddle, however as there is no internet at Ganguddy, onsite payments by cash only, please.
Southern Cross Kayaking also offer guided kayak tours – departing daily each morning of their season and on Friday evenings during daylight saving.
Wildlife you may encounter during your paddle includes wallabies, purple swamp hens, lyrebirds, long-necked turtles, musk ducks and you might even glimpse a platypus!
No experience necessary: paddling instruction and safety briefing provided.
