It doesn’t get much better than this, imagine cruising on the beautiful Wooli Wooli River in the Northern Rivers Region, NSW, enjoying the view, catching a fish or two, and having a leisurely swim, surrounded by pristine bush scenery!

The River begins and ends almost entirely within the Yuraygir National Park, and is home to many varieties of native animals, wildlife and fish.

The best way to see it?

Get on the Wooli River Explorer (their small and friendly riverboat which is wheelchair accessible) or hire one of the runabouts and experience arguably the cleanest and most untouched river on Australia’s east coast. They’ve got the only runabouts for hire between Bellingen and Yamba, and they’re waiting for you now!

The Wooli River Explorer is a small and friendly river boat (wheelchair accessible) that provides a fun and relaxing environment for all to enjoy! Great for family outings, a friendly get together, or club and work parties, the Explorer is suitable for groups up to 12 with the option to drive yourself and explore the river, using the map supplied, or for groups up to 14 with a qualified operator.

Take advantage of the onboard barbecue facilities, in the shade of the covered deck. Tune into a great radio station, or bring along some of your favourite CDs to listen to.

Fishing gear is also available for hire.

Wooli River Boat Hire offer a selection of runabouts for quick and easy access. Includes fuel. Fishing gear is also available for hire.

Rates

Runabout hire begins at AUD70 (then AUD20 per hour after that); Wooli River Explorer begins at AUD350 (then AUD100 per hour up to AUD500).
Deposit required on all hires.
