Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge is located in the heart of the beautiful Mary River Wetlands region approximately 180kms from Darwin. It is a unique remote property for stop overs and visitors situated in the expansive floodplain area of the Mary River bordering the Mary River National Park.
The Lodge offers air-conditioned modern ensuite rooms, standard style air-conditioned rooms, safari tents, pet friendly powered caravan and motorhome sites, and unpowered camping grounds.
Also available are laundry facilities, amenities, barbeque areas, camp kitchens, a large saltwater swimming pool & family jumping pillow with shade structure. There is a public car park for Mary River National Park/Jimmy Creek monsoonal vine forest walk direct access and day use.
The property has an area for buffalo and banteng viewing and feeding, and a barramundi feeding pond and information area. The Lodge facilities also include a licensed Bar/Bistro, all meals, snacks, ice, minor mechanical repairs, and a tour desk with a range of our tours including the Mary River Wetlands Cruise, 4WD Floodplain/Sunset Safaris, Barramundi Fishing Tours, Wildlife/Birding Tours and provide visitors with valuable information about the Mary River National Park & surrounds. Guests do not have to stay at the Lodge to join one of the tours.
