Gorge View Bush Retreat

Gorge View Bush Retreat is Katherine’s newest glamping destination. Nestled on the Katherine Gorge escarpment, at the doorstep of Nitmiluk National Park, Gorge View offers glamping, camping and group accommodation.

They are the ideal location for a group booking – They can accommodate up to 60 guests; 48 guests in 24 safari huts (twin share), and up to 12 guests in our glamping canvas bell tents (up to 4 pax in a glamping tent, Queen bed + 2 singles). Shared bathrooms including showers and flushing toilets.

Small tank pools create an ideal spot to cool off, and the outdoor cast iron baths provide a unique outdoor bathing experience.

A sensational sunset viewing deck also makes the ideal location for yoga sessions.

Limited meal service is available for guests. There is 3 camp kitchens which are equipped with gas cooking and a fridge.

Gorge View is perfectly suited as your base for mountain biking the world-class mountain bike tracks of Nitmiluk National Park, enjoying the pristine bush, and world class hiking trails including the Jatbula Trail.

Gorge View is a superb bird-watching site, given the undisturbed bush scape. There have been sightings of rare Gouldian Finches on site.
