Mardukal Campground 1

Caravan, Camping and Holiday Parks

This seasonal campsite offers all the facilities you need to set up a comfortable base and explore Kakadu.

It’s a great staging ground for day trips to the Jim Jim and Mary River regions or to launch your boat and go fishing.

You can enjoy encounters with Kakadu’s wildlife – wallabies are abundant during the day, with large colonies of bats nearby in the evening.

The Kungardun woodlands walk and the Mardukal Billabong walk offer opportunities to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. For fishers, there is access to Mardukal Billabong via the boat ramp, and barramundi and saratoga are often biting.

A park pass is required to enter Kakadu National Park. Save time on your holiday and purchase your Kakadu park pass online before you leave home.
